AQUA-K9 Major Components

Display Screen

Here you will be able to read signals in real time whilst simultaneously emitting sound to the headphones. The display screen processes sensor feedback through live waveform analysis and numerical values, helping the operator compare test points more accurately. It is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and is designed for simple, practical use in the field.

Wall Sensor

This compact contact sensor is ideal for narrow and hard-to-reach indoor areas where access is limited. It is suitable for use around tight gaps, confined spaces, wall junctions, cabinets, vanities, and other areas where a more precise contact point is needed.

Indoor Floor Sensor

This sensor is suited to general indoor leak detection across common surface areas. It can be used on tiled, timber, vinyl, concrete, and other floor surfaces where clear acoustic feedback is required.

Outdoor Floor Sensor & Steel Probe

This acoustic resonance sensor is designed for outdoor shallow buried pipeline detection. It is well suited to softer ground conditions and can be used where the pipeline is buried at a relatively shallow depth.

Large Outdoor Floor Sensor

This acoustic resonance sensor is designed for outdoor deeper buried pipeline detection and harder ground conditions. It is ideal for more demanding outdoor environments where greater depth reach is required. The attachable steel rod can also be attached to the base of the outdoor floor sensor to detect leaks under lawns, soft soil types, sand, ovals, sporting fields, and more.

This sensor is used within external, high-traffic and noise-polluted environments such as car parks, major highways, freeways, large construction sites, train stations, airports, hydrant systems, mines, oil rigs, etc.

Tracer Gas Sensor

This sensor is used for tracer gas leak detection and is especially useful in more difficult scenarios where acoustic conditions may not be ideal. It detects escaping gas concentrations at the surface to help narrow down the leak location with greater precision.

Steel Rod

The steel rod can be used to improve contact in softer ground conditions and assist with leak detection where direct surface contact is less effective.

Telescopic Rod

The telescopic rod helps the operator work more comfortably across different surfaces and positions, allowing better reach and control during testing.

The headphones allow the operator to hear leak sounds clearly whilst reducing surrounding interference, making it easier to focus on subtle changes in sound response.

Charger and Data Cable

The charger is used to recharge the unit, while the data cable allows for connection and data transmission where required.

Strap and Control Handle

The strap and control handle improve portability, handling, and ease of use when operating the AQUA-K9 on site.
