Why is water leak detection important?

Water leaks can be dangerous and costly to property and the environment. How do we find a leak below a surface area which we cannot see? Simple, our leak detectors can listen to frequencies up to 8 metres below ground when a burst occurs due to immense pressure within a pipe network. Water is our special resource, and we do not want to waste it unnecessarily.
